How much is a license? Where/ how do I get one?

Alabama hunting licenses are available in many sporting goods stores and all county courthouses.  Non-resident licenses are also available by mail from the License Unit, Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division, Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, 64 North Union Street, Montgomery, AL 36130.  For more information call 1-888-848-6887.

Am I allowed to shoot does? What if I accidentally kill a button buck or an illegal buck?

There is a $50.00 fine for killing a button buck and a $100.00 fine for an illegal buck.  We encourage hunters to shoot does.   Every hunter is allowed two does during his/ her stay.

How many hunters are in camp at one time?

Flint Creek has three bedrooms and can accommodate six hunters.  We have two sets of bunks, accommodating four hunters, a full sized bed accommodating two and a sleeper sofa accommodating two, if needed.

What kind of stands do you hunt out of?

We use Summit fixed position stands with Swifttree ladders, some ladder stands, and you are free to bring your own climbing stand.
